Privacy Policy
Last Updated: May 18, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how J Aryavarta Tech Private Limited (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your personal data when you use the LandVerify mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.
2. Who We Are
J Aryavarta Tech Private Limited is based in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India, and is the operator and developer of the LandVerify platform.
We provide technology-enabled land and property history verification services, including coordination with advocates, legal professionals, clerical personnel, and other service providers to help users understand ownership history, legal liabilities, encumbrances, disputes, and related issues affecting land and constructed properties.
3. Scope of this Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to personal data we collect from users who access the Services, sign in using Google Sign-In, submit verification requests, upload documents, use map-based property selection, make payments, communicate with us, receive reports through the platform, or request support, correction, deletion, or grievance handling.
This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, applications, or services that may be linked to or integrated with the Services, and such third parties are governed by their own privacy practices.
4. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Account and contact information, such as your name, mobile number, email address, and any other contact details you provide.
- If you sign in using Google Sign-In or similar authentication methods, we may receive your name, email address, account identifier, and other basic profile information made available by that provider based on your permissions and the scopes used. We do not intentionally collect or store your Google profile photo unless specifically enabled in a future version of the Services.
- Authentication and session data, including login tokens, refresh tokens, session identifiers, and related security metadata required to maintain secure access to your account and Services.
- Property and location-related information, including state, city, address, pincode, khasra number, survey number, tehsil, village, and other identifying property details submitted for verification.
- Map and location assistance data. Where you grant location permission while using the app, the app may access device location to help load the map interface, improve property search, and assist in selecting the relevant property on the map. However, we primarily use and store the property address, map selection result, property search result, and related location coordinates voluntarily submitted by you for verification purposes, and we do not state that we store continuous background location history.
- User-provided files, documents, images, scans, and related records uploaded by you, including sale deeds, title documents, tax receipts, revenue records, court papers, approvals, NOCs, and other supporting materials relevant to verification. These uploads may contain personal data relating to you or third parties.
- Additional notes or statements voluntarily provided by you regarding ownership, possession, disputes, family arrangements, transaction history, or concerns associated with the property.
- Transaction and payment-related data, such as payment status, verification ticket or order number, transaction reference numbers, payment IDs, order identifiers, amount paid, and billing-related details received from our payment partners. We do not store full card, net banking, or UPI credential details.
- Technical and usage data, such as device type, operating system, app version, IP address, log records, access times, error traces, masked security logs, and service usage information generated when you use the Services.
- Internal verification records, work notes, admin review records, lawyer or advocate coordination records, and reports generated by us or on our behalf during the course of providing the Services.
5. How We Collect Information
We collect information directly from you when you create an account, sign in using Google or other sign-in services, submit a verification request, fill in property details, upload documents, provide location access, search or select a property on the map, make a payment, contact us, or otherwise interact with the Services.
We may also collect information automatically through app permissions, device logs, security monitoring, session handling tools, and technical integrations necessary for authentication, security, operations, and service improvement.
In addition, we may collect or verify information from third-party or public sources, including government departments, revenue offices, registry systems, courts, and other lawful sources relevant to property due diligence. Payment processing is handled by third-party payment providers and banking networks, and we do not directly collect or store complete debit card, credit card, UPI PIN, or banking credential information on our own servers.
6. Purpose of Use
We use your information to identify and verify the relevant property, authenticate your account, maintain sessions, process your verification request, coordinate with advocates and service providers, generate and deliver reports, process payments, communicate with you, prevent fraud, maintain platform security, comply with law, and improve our Services.
7. Legal Basis and Consent
We process personal data primarily on the basis of your consent and for lawful purposes connected with provision of the Services, fraud prevention, security, authentication, and compliance with applicable Indian laws.
Where consent is required, it will be obtained at or before the time of collection. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, but such withdrawal may affect our ability to continue providing some or all of the Services.
8. Confidentiality and Professional Handling
We treat information and documents submitted for verification as confidential and share them only on a need-to-know basis with our internal team and with advocates, legal professionals, field personnel, clerical staff, consultants, and service providers engaged for the purpose of carrying out the verification.
We take reasonable steps to ensure that persons handling such data are subject to confidentiality obligations, professional responsibilities, or contractual safeguards appropriate to the nature of the Services.
9. Data Sharing
We may share your information with advocates and verification professionals, technology and infrastructure providers, hosting and authentication providers, payment and communication partners, email delivery providers, professional advisors, and government or regulatory authorities where required by law or reasonably necessary for verification.
We may use third-party technology and infrastructure providers to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Services. These providers may include Railway for backend application hosting and infrastructure management, Cloudflare services for backend storage, networking, performance, security, and domain-related services associated with landverify.land, Vercel for deployment and hosting of the admin portal and related web interfaces, Google services for authentication, maps, and location functionality, Razorpay for payment processing and transaction handling, and Resend, Gmail, Zoho Mail, or similar email delivery services for sending reports, notifications, verification updates, support responses, and transactional communications.
We do not sell your personal data for monetary consideration.
10. Admin Access and External Professional Sharing
Uploaded documents and related verification materials may be accessed by authorised internal administrators through a role-based admin portal where necessary to review submissions, verify records, and prepare findings.
External advocates or third-party professionals engaged for verification do not necessarily receive direct access to the admin portal. Where necessary, relevant document information, extracts, or supporting materials may instead be shared with them through controlled communication channels such as email for the limited purpose of verification and legal review.
11. Third-Party and Public Sources
The Services may rely on records, extracts, or information obtained from government offices, registries, courts, public databases, and other third-party sources. Such information may be incomplete, delayed, inconsistent, inaccessible, or subject to later change.
Accordingly, while we make reasonable efforts in the verification process, we do not guarantee the absolute accuracy, completeness, or ongoing validity of third-party or public-source information. Verification reports and findings generated through the Services are intended to assist users in property-related due diligence and decision-making. Such reports should not be treated as a substitute for independent legal advice, financial advice, title insurance, or formal government certification.
12. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect your data against unauthorised access, disclosure, misuse, alteration, or destruction. These measures may include role-based access controls, secure hosting, restricted internal access, encryption in transit where appropriate, monitoring, masked or minimised logging practices, and administrative safeguards for document handling.
However, no digital platform or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.
13. Cloud Infrastructure and Storage
The Services operate using cloud-based infrastructure and third-party technology providers that may process, cache, store, secure, or transmit information on our behalf. Verification records, uploaded documents, reports, operational logs, authentication records, and related platform data may be processed through secure infrastructure environments managed by authorised service providers.
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to restrict unauthorised access and maintain appropriate safeguards over data processed through such infrastructure. However, users acknowledge that no online platform, cloud environment, storage provider, or internet transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure or uninterrupted.
14. Data Retention
We retain personal data and verification-related records only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
After the relevant retention period, we may delete, archive, or anonymise data in accordance with applicable law and internal policies.
15. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate or incomplete information, deletion of data where legally permissible, withdrawal of consent, and grievance redressal in relation to the processing of your information.
To request access, correction, deletion, or account-related privacy assistance, please email infojaryavartatech@gmail.com from your registered email address with the subject line “Privacy Request”. We may require reasonable verification of your identity before acting on any such request. Users may also request account deletion and removal of associated personal data, subject to legal retention obligations, fraud prevention requirements, ongoing verification processes, dispute resolution needs, or other lawful grounds permitting continued retention.
16. Reports and Email Communication
Verification findings, status updates, and final reports may be sent to you by email using the contact information associated with your account or otherwise provided by you. Such email communications may contain personal data, property-related details, and verification findings relevant to your request.
You are responsible for ensuring that the email address you provide is accurate and accessible to you.
17. Children’s Privacy
The Services are not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that personal data of a child has been collected without appropriate authorisation, we will take reasonable steps to delete such data.
18. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that all information and documents you submit are accurate, lawful, and that you are authorised to share them. You must not upload forged, misleading, unlawful, defamatory, or infringing documents or content through the Services.
19. International and Cross-Border Processing
Our technology and infrastructure providers may store or process data outside your immediate state or outside India, subject to applicable law. Where such processing occurs, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are applied.
20. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do so, we will revise the “Last Updated” date and may provide additional notice through the app, website, or other reasonable means where changes are material.
